Empowering through

Founder President

"Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference"

Shri. Mahadevappa Rampure, Founder President of Hyderabad Karnataka Education Society, was aptly called " Madan Mohan Malvia " of Hyderabad Karnatak area for his outstanding contribution in the History of education in Karnataka. The erstwhile Hyderabad Karnataka region gripped in the gloomy atmosphere of ignorance and illiteracy- he led the movement of education to eradicate darkness to light, poverty to prosperity, ignorance to knowledge, sufferance to comfort, hereby transformed the whole landscape of this region. He was a freedom fighter, social reformer, a parliamentarian, a visionary with a missionary zeal and an educationist. He built a mini University with competence, compassion, confidence almost single handedly. The H.K.E. Society with seeds sown by this great visionary runs 42 (Forty two) institutions growing from strength to strength in quality with a respectable status both at home and abroad year after year.

The founding father is an epic saga, remembered as long as people of this area get educated in the H K E Society's institutions. We, salute this great man of dignity, integrity, tenacity, foresight and his love for mankind.

He reminds us the lines of Robert Frost.

"The woods are lovely, dark and deep.
But I have promises to keep
And miles to go before I sleep
And miles to go before I sleep"
