Hostels

Hostels are the next house for the education aspirants. HKE Society is trying for the level best to provide a homely atmosphere for the students studying in various hostels attached to institutions.

HKE society has established, first hostel for PDA Engineering College near its campus and named as Moulana Azad Memorial Hostel, Kalaburagi in 1960 to accommodate nearly 400 students. In 1963, Smt. Veeramma Gangasiri Women's Hostel is established for the need of Girl students studying in Engineering and Medical colleges of HKE Society. In 1969, a hostel for medical students (boys) is established and named it as Chandrashekhar Patil Memorial Hostel Kalaburagi. Another hostel for engineering students studying in SLN Enginering college Raichure has been established in 1979 and named it as S. L. Nair Engineering College Hostel, Raichur. These hostels provide in-house canteen, sports, library, mess and other facilities.
